Meet the artist

Hi I'm Sam, a background painter working in Toronto.

I have a passion for colour and love using vibrant and joyful colours in my work (especially lime green). I use my art as a means of storytelling and I pride myself on my ability to impose a certain mood onto my viewer through my use of colour and light. I enjoy using very graphic shapes to add personality to my work, making it both fun and recognizable.

When I'm not working, I like to dabble in traditional mediums such as acrylic and watercolour, I find they relax me and let me enjoy the process of making art rather than the outcome. I also really like miniatures and occasionally, when I get the time, create miniature polymer foods and sometimes dollhouse esque rooms!
